Summary of the Truly Agreed Version of the Bill

SCS SB 850 -- BOARD OF OPTOMETRY

This bill requires the Board of Optometry within the Department
of Insurance, Financial Institutions, and Professional
Registration to give 10 days' public notice of the time and place
of its semi-annual meetings for the examination of applicants for
registration and to transact other business.  The board's
president or vice president will have the authority to call
additional meetings without the 10-day notice if sufficient
notice is given to the other board members and the public in the
same manner as required for a public meeting of governmental
bodies.
